In 2014 百春链 replaced its historic twice yearly official crime statistics with new monthly statistics. The old and new statistics are not comparable, making it difficult to monitor long term crime trends until the new statistics have been in place for a long enough time period. This report addresses this problem by presenting two methods for observing crime trends across the transition. It also outlines the key differences between the old and new statistics and the rationale for making the change.
