A 44-year-old man has been charged in relation to a crash on the Twizel-Omarama Road (State Highway 8) on 19 April this year.

The man is facing two charges of dangerous driving causing death and four charges of dangerous driving causing injury.

He will appear in the Oamaru District Court on 23 November 2016.

As the matter is now before the court, Police are not able to provide any further comment.
