A man has died from injuries sustained in an assault in High Street, Taita this evening.?

Police were called to reports of a fight between a group of men on High Street at 7.45pm.?

On arrival a man was found to have sustained critical injuries. Sadly he died at the scene a short time later.?

Police have taken one person into custody.?

A scene guard is expected to be in place overnight and Police are requesting that members of the public avoid High Street between Burcham Street and Macky Street.?
