Police can now name the man who died in a crash on the Gibbston Valley Highway yesterday.

He was Amon James Saunders, aged 39, of Alexandra.

Police extend their sympathies to Amon’s family and friends at this tragic time.?

We would also like to acknowledge the courageous actions of those who were first on the scene and climbed down the bluff face -? at great personal risk to themselves - in order to provide first aid to Amon.
