Police appeal for witnesses to Plympton Street firearms incident

Police are continuing to investigate a firearms incident in Plympton Street, New Plymouth on 30 March.?

A 21-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm in relation to the incident.?
?
He is remanded in custody and will reappear in New Plymouth District Court on 24 April.?
?
The victim, a 20-year-old man, remains in Waikato Hospital receiving treatment for his injuries.
?
A vehicle stolen during the incident has been located by Police and is being forensically examined.?
?
Police would still like to hear from anyone who has information which could assist our investigation, who has not yet spoken to us.?
