Police can confirm that three people are dead following a fatal crash between a vehicle and a truck on Egmont Street in Patea this afternoon.?
The Police Serious Crash Unit is currently in attendance and an investigation is underway.?

Diversions are still in place due to the road being closed and motorists can expect continued delays when travelling through Patea.
