Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Cash in Transit van on Link Drive, Wairau Valley this afternoon.?

The robbery took place at 1.15pm in the carpark at 3 Link Drive, near the Placemakers store.?

Police believe two male offenders were involved.? ?

Witnesses have reported that one man remained in a silver Audi station wagon, while the second man presented a firearm at the van staff.? The Audi was seen heading towards Target Road.??

The van staff were uninjured but shaken by the incident.?
?
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the robbery who we have not yet spoken to.?
?
We’d also like to hear from anyone who may have dashcam footage from the carpark, or from surrounding roads, between 12pm and 1.30pm.?
