Investigations continue into the unexplained death of a woman in a residential property in Constable Street, Newtown, Wellington.

Officer in Charge of the Wellington Area CIB, Detective Senior Sergeant Warwick McKee, said Police can confirm that the deceased is 31 year old Rosemary Dey from Newtown. ?? ??????

Mr McKee states “A Post Mortem was carried out today and the results at this time are inconclusive. Further analysis will be undertaken”.

“At this stage the death still remains as unexplained “.

"Police are supporting the family and friends of Ms Dey through these tough times,” said Mr McKee.
